Soliant is looking for a caring and professional nurse to provide direct, one-on-one care for a student with plex medical needs near Bedford, New Hampshire.
- Full-Time (up to 37.5 hours / week)
- Provide continuous health care to the student during school hours, addressing medical needs and emergencies.
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and monitor the student's health as per the doctor's orders.
- Coordinate with parents, teachers, and the students healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized health care plans.
- Monitor vital signs, manage medical equipment, and assist with daily health tasks such as mobility or personal care.
- Ensure that the students health needs are met while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
- Offer emotional support and act as an advocate for the student in various school settings (classroom, lunch, recess).
- Maintain accurate health records, including medication logs and incident reports, and report any changes in the students condition to parents or guardians.
- Collaborate with school administration and staff to ensure that the student is integrated appropriately into school activities while prioritizing health and safety.
