Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled School Psychologist to join our dedicated team at Shreveport Academy in a remote capacity. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our educational munity to provide prehensive psychological services to our diverse student body.
Essential Responsibilities
- Implement prehensive psychological services for students K-12
- Conduct virtual psychological assessments and evaluations
- Provide counseling services and behavioral interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings and educational planning
- Maintain detailed documentation and student records
- Provide consultation to teachers and parents
- Develop and implement crisis intervention strategies
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a School Psychologist in a K-12 setting
- Current state licensure or ability to obtain Louisiana licensure
- Expertise in special education laws and procedures
- Strong background in psychological assessment and intervention
- Excellent digital munication skills
- Proficiency in virtual service delivery platforms
Schedule
Full-time, remote position with flexible scheduling options during school hours. Evening availability may be required for parent conferences and team meetings.
