We are seeking a skilled and passionate Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to provide virtual services for students requiring vision support. This is a part-time, flexible position ideal for experienced TVIs looking to work remotely while making a meaningful impact on students' education.
Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual instruction and support to students with visual impairments.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and school staff to ensure a supportive learning environment.
- Utilize assistive technology and online platforms to deliver effective instruction.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as necessary to meet goals.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) license.
- Previous experience working as a TVI, preferably in a virtual setting.
- Strong munication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with assistive technologies and virtual teaching tools.
- Reliable internet connection and home office setup.
