Are you an experienced retail pharmacist looking to make a difference in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a dedicated pharmacist to join a reputable pharmacy team in Mauston, WI. Position Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Full-time, shifts vary from 8 AM 6 PM or 9 AM 7 PM
• Every 3rd Saturday: 8 AM 1 PM
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense medications safely and legally, ensuring patient care and compliance with regulations
• Provide pharmaceutical compounding, drug consultations, and therapeutic drug monitoring
• Administer vaccines and perform other clinical pharmacy services
• Oversee inventory control, including monitoring levels, ordering, and stocking medications
• Supervise pharmacy interns and technicians, ensuring smooth workflow
• Input and process prescriptions, ensure accuracy, and correct errors
• Counsel patients on medication usage and provide drug information and education
• Follow Medicare Accreditation policies and procedures
  
  

Qualifications

• Required:
• Active Pharmacist License
• Experience in retail dispensing, home health aids, and pharmacy practice
• Strong ability to counsel patients and perform pharmaceutical compounding
• Willingness to follow policies and procedures for quality control and quality assurance
• Experience with vaccine administration
