Retail Pharmacist Vacation Coverage Tonopah, NV

Minimum 1 years pharmacy experience required.

We are seeking an experienced Retail Pharmacist for full-time coverage to assist during a vacation period at a retail pharmacy located in Tonopah, NV, a charming small town situated approximately 4 hours from Reno and 3 hours from Las Vegas.

Schedule

• Hours: Monday Friday, 10:00 AM 6:30 PM (No weekends).
  
  

Duties And Responsibilities

• Pharmacy Operations: Ensure all daily operations run smoothly.
• Medication Dispensing: Accurately review and dispense prescriptions while verifying patient information for safety and compliance.
• Supervision: Provide leadership and oversight to a strong pharmacy technician, ensuring adherence to procedures and regulatory standards.
• Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service, address customer inquiries, and resolve issues in a professional manner.
• Inventory Management: Oversee medication inventory, including ordering, receiving, and managing stock to prevent shortages.
• Compliance: Maintain adherence to all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail pharmacy operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Ability to effectively supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians.
• Strong communication and customer service skills to work with the local community.
• Active pharmacist license in good standing for Nevada.
