Soliant isseeking a passionate and experienced School-Based Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team and provide support to students with disabilities in a K-12 school setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of behavior principles and practices, as well as experience working with students with a variety of disabilities. They will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing and implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs), and providing ongoing support and training to staff and parents.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors.
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) to address challenging behaviors.
- Provide ongoing behavior support to students in a K-12 school setting.
- Collaborate with teachers,paraprofessionals,and other school staff to develop and implement effective behavior management strategies.
- Provide training and support to parents on behavior management strategies.
- Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in applied behavior analysis (ABA).
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in applied behavior analysis (ABA) or a related field.
- BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Strong understanding of behavior principles and practices.
- Experience working with students with a variety of disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
