School Based Occupational Therapists needed in Wheaton, Illinois

Minimum 1 years occupational therapy experience required.

Soliant, a leading education staffing agency, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Illinois. This is a school-based position where you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess students' occupational therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support student goals.
• Provide therapy to improve students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure student success.
• Document progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  
  

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Illinois Occupational Therapist License.
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  
  

Illinois State Requirements

• Must hold a valid Illinois Occupational Therapy License through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).
• Completion of all district and state requirements for working in Illinois schools, including a background check.
