Responsibilities
- Evaluate and assess students' occupational therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support student goals.
- Provide therapy to improve students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure student success.
- Document progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current Illinois Occupational Therapist License.
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must hold a valid Illinois Occupational Therapy License through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).
- Completion of all district and state requirements for working in Illinois schools, including a background check.
