Job Details
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, School Psychology, or a related field is required
- Active and valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Caseload: Mixed ages. More details disclosed on interview.
- Experience working in a school or educational setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to special education and student support services.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Provide psychological services to students, including individual counseling, group therapy, and crisis intervention.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide ongoing support.
- Offer consultation to school personnel regarding behavioral and emotional issues impacting student learning.
- Implement and monitor behavioral interventions and strategies to improve student outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student assessments, interventions, and progress.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide mental health initiatives.
