Qualifications
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience in school settings (preferred but not required)
- Strong understanding of assessment tools and diagnostic techniques
- Passion for helping students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and confidentiality
- On site
- Must have active IL state license
- Caseload discussed on interview
- Full time preferred
- Conduct psychological assessments for students to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional challenges
- Provide individual and group counseling to students dealing with a variety of mental health issues
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
- Offer crisis intervention and conflict resolution strategies for students and staff
