We areseeking a skilled and passionate Sign Language Interpreter to join our team! In this role, you will provide interpretation services to individuals who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing in a variety of settings, ensuring clear munication and accessibility.
Responsibilities :
- Provide sign language interpretation for individuals who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing in educational, medical, or workplace settings.
- Interpret verbal munication into American Sign Language (ASL) and vice versa for students, staff, or clients.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, healthcare providers, and other professionals to ensure seamless munication and understanding.
- Adapt your interpreting style based on the context, whether it be in-person or virtual, formal or informal settings.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in sign language interpretation.
- Follow the code of ethics and professional standards of interpretation, ensuring that the rights and needs of the individuals you work with are respected.
