We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Mineral Wells, TX. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting the delivery of speech and language services to students in a school-based setting. This role involves implementing therapy plans, monitoring progress, and fostering effective communication skills for students.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in delivering therapy sessions, both one-on-one and in groups
- Follow and implement individualized treatment plans
- Document student progress and report to the supervising SLP
- Support classroom teachers and staff in integrating communication goals into the classroom environment
- Provide support to help students achieve therapy objectives and improve communication skills
- Associates degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field
- Texas SLPA license or eligibility for licensure
- Experience in a school setting preferred
