Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders and support academic success.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatic challenges.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication goals in the school environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- State licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and school staff.
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred but not required.
