Job Title: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Required Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or munication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program
- Illinois State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathologist (Non-Teaching) Endorsement from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
- Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (preferred but not required for new graduates who are pleting their Clinical Fellowship Year)
- Clinical Fellowship (CF) Candidates will be considered and provided with supervision

Responsibilities:- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and munication disorders in students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
- Provide direct therapy to students, individually and in small groups, to address speech and language goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support each students educational progress
- Document and monitor student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights on speech and language goals and progress
- Educate school staff and families on strategies to reinforce speech and language development
- Strong understanding of speech-language pathology practices within a school setting
- Excellent munication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation requirements
- Strong organizational skills for maintaining detailed records and reports
- Positive, student-centered approach with a mitment to improving student outes
