School Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) near Greer, SC

Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

• Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or munication Disorders from an accredited program
• Valid South Carolina Speech-Language Pathology License from the South Carolina Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
• Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
• South Carolina Department of Education Certification as a Speech-Language Therapist or Specialist
• Experience working in a school setting (preferred)

• Assess and evaluate students speech, language, and munication needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students unique requirements
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development and achieve IEP goals
• Provide direct therapy and intervention to students, both individually and in groups
• Document and report on student progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and remendations for student support
• Educate school staff and families on strategies to reinforce munication goals

• Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology principles, practices, and procedures in school settings
• Excellent munication and interpersonal skills for working with students, teachers, and families
• Ability to maintain detailed and organized documentation for progress monitoring and reporting
• Familiarity with the IEP process and experience developing IEP goals
