Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in a school-based setting. The ideal candidate will work closely with Occupational Therapists (OTs) to support students in achieving their academic and functional goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist OTs in implementing individualized therapy plans.
- Provide direct therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure student success.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions and progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and other team discussions as needed.
Requirements:
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in NM.
- Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred.
- Strong munication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload and meet deadlines.
