Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group therapy to students with a variety of physical, sensory, and developmental disabilities.
- Evaluate students' needs and create tailored therapy plans to address specific goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create a supportive environment for students development.
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, treatment plans, and communication with families.
- Attend IEP meetings and provide input as needed regarding students progress and goals.
- Participate in school meetings, professional development opportunities, and training as required.
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working with students in a school-based setting is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and staff.
