Position Details :
Primary Role : Catching up the district on evaluations and assessments.
Location : Primarily serving two elementary schools, with occasional support for grades 6-12.
Schedule : Full-time, onsite, with flexible coverage as needed.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify students' needs and strengths.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop individualized support plans.
Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on intervention strategies.
Support the district in managing evaluation backlogs, ensuring compliance with timelines.
Occasionally assist with meeting or assessment coverage for middle and high school students.
Qualifications :
Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology (Ed.S., Psy.S., or equivalent).
Valid Georgia certification in School Psychology.
Experience working with elementary and secondary school students preferred.
Strong skills in assessment, consultation, and collaboration.
Familiarity with federal and state special education laws and guidelines.
