What You'll Do
- Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Provide individual and group counseling services to students facing emotional or behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create and implement intervention strategies and IEPs.
- Offer crisis intervention and support for students dealing with mental health issues.
- Teach students coping strategies and life skills to promote emotional resilience.
- Monitor student progress and make adjustments to interventions as necessary.
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology.
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience with psychological assessments, testing, and IEP development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
