Soliant Education is seeking an experienced and dedicated School Psychologist to join a dynamic team in Ypsilanti, MI. The selected candidate will work with students ranging in age from birth to 26, providing essential psychological services and support in various schools within the district.
Responsibilities
- Conduct educational psychological testing for students across all grade levels.
- Provide Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) support to students and staff.
- Respond to crisis situations and provide immediate intervention.
- Develop and implement Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Collaborate with educational teams to implement Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS).
- Participate in staff meetings, IEP meetings, and other required school activities.
- Assist in the development of school-wide policies that address student well-being.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid School Psychologist certification in Michigan.
- Prior experience in educational psychological testing and crisis intervention preferred.
- Strong understanding of MTSS and the ability to implement behavioral interventions.
- Ability to work independently and across various school locations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
