Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and evaluations to determine student needs
- Provide counseling and behavioral interventions to support students emotional and academic well-being
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to develop and implement IEPs and 504 plans
- Provide individual and group counseling to students dealing with behavioral, emotional, and academic challenges
- Offer crisis intervention and develop programs to promote mental health awareness within the school community
- Conduct staff development and parent training sessions on topics related to mental health and student success
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and educational strategies
