School-based Psychologist Job Needed Near Somers, CT
- A great school in the Somers, CT area is now looking to contract a school psychologist (PSYCH) for a current, full-time opening. Previous experience working with children is desired, but not required for this school-based job. Responsibilities:
- Assess referred students and make remendations for appropriate school programs.
- Participate in Multi-Disciplinary Team and Child Study Team meetings to assist teachers and staff in developing plans to meet the needs of the students.
- Attend Individualized Education Program and other planning meetings
- Group and individual therapy
Experience:
- Previous experience in schools or pediatric offices preferred.
Education:
- Masters in School Psychology
- Active CT Psychology License and state clearances to practice within school setting
Employment Type: Full-time, Contract
- August 2024-June 2025
- Full time/32-37.5 hours a week
- Middle school, 6-8th grade caseload
