Soliant has partnered with a school district near Helen, GA to locate a dedicated Sign Language Interpreter. This role involves working with an elementary (K-5) caseload, providing essential interpreting services for deaf or hard of hearing students.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide sign language interpretation for elementary students (K-5).
• Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and peers.
• Support students in understanding and participating in classroom activities.
• Adapt interpreting techniques to meet individual student needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  
  

Qualifications

• GAPSC Educational Interpreter License preferred.
• Bachelors degree preferred.
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL).
• Experience working as a sign language interpreter, preferably in an educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
