Are you a passionate School Social Worker passionate about supporting students' mental and emotional well-being? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join a supportive school district near Cedar Springs, MI. In this role, you will help students overe social, emotional, and behavioral challenges to thrive academically and socially in school.
Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling and support to students facing emotional, behavioral, or social challenges.
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to address students needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create and implement strategies that support student success.
- Assist in crisis intervention and provide guidance on conflict resolution.
- Evaluate students' mental health and emotional well-being, making appropriate referrals when necessary.
- Support the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and participate in team meetings.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Social Work (MSW).
- Valid Michigan Social Worker license (LMSW or LLMSW).
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong munication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Pay & pensation:
- Hourly Rate: Up to $35 per hour (based on experience and qualifications).
