Soliant Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated School Social Worker to join our team in the Stanwood, MI area. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of kindergarten students, either on-site or virtually.
About the Role:
As a School Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting the emotional, social, and behavioral well-being of kindergarten students. You will work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing individual and group counseling services to address social-emotional challenges and promote positive development.
- Collaborating with teachers and parents to identify student needs and develop support plans.
- Conducting crisis intervention and conflict resolution to ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Connecting students and families with munity resources and services.
- Providing social-emotional learning (SEL) support and programs to the kindergarten grade level.
- Advocating for the needs and rights of students.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in pliance with school and state requirements.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure as a School Social Worker in Michigan (or eligibility for licensure). 1. www.soliant.

- Strong understanding of child development and social-emotional learning (SEL) best practices for kindergarten students.
- Excellent munication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
