- Duration:ASAP - End of School Year (EOSY)
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team and support elementary students. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young learners by helping them develop their communication skills in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of students speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet each students needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a supportive educational environment.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy approaches as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.
- Bachelors degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Current state licensure and certification.
- Experience working in a schoolis a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a school team.
