Responsibilities
- Provide sign language interpretation services in a K-12 school environment.
- Support communication between the student and educators, peers, and staff.
- Interpret educational content in real-time, ensuring accurate and clear communication.
- Adapt sign language interpretation based on the students individual needs.
- Collaborate with the students educational team to develop communication strategies.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
- MUST hold a valid Sign Language Interpreter Certification.
- A minimum of a 3.5 or above on the Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA).
- Previous experience working as an Educational Sign Language Interpreter is highly preferred.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
