The ideal candidate will have experience in evaluating and treating students with speech, language, and communication challenges, collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support students' academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to middle school students with speech and language needs.
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student evaluations.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to create supportive educational environments.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services.
- Participate in IEP meetings to develop student goals and objectives.
- Provide strategies and support for classroom teachers to help students generalize communication skills.
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in New Hampshire.
- Experience working with middle school students is preferred.
