SLPA Position Available Near House Springs, MO
Soliant is actively seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a school district near House Springs, MO. This position is set to begin ASAP and will continue through the end of the school year (EOSY). The SLPA will work with a diverse PreK-12th caseload, providing essential speech therapy support to students of various age groups.
Responsibilities
Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in providing therapy to PreK-12th grade students
Implement and monitor speech therapy goals as outlined in students' IEPs
Document student progress and provide detailed reports
Conduct screenings and assessments as necessary
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student needs
Provide behavior management and reinforcement during therapy sessions
Qualifications
Active SLPA license in the state of Missouri
Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred
Comfortable managing a diverse PreK-12th caseload
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to start ASAP and remain through EOSY
