Caseload: 29 students in Affective Needs Center-Based Program
Soliant Education is seeking an experienced and passionate School Social Worker to join a dedicated team at an Elementary School. This full-time position will start immediately and is available through the end of the 2024-2025 school year. The Social Worker will be joining a supportive and established team, working alongside two teachers and another social worker. Due to an increase in students, an additional Social Worker is needed to share a caseload of 29 students in an Affective Needs Center-Based Program.
Responsibilities:- Provide individual and group therapy services to students in the Affective Needs Center-Based program.
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to create a supportive environment for students.
- Assess and evaluate students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Develop and implement intervention plans and individualized support strategies.
- Provide crisis intervention when necessary and help develop behavior management plans.
- Act as a resource for families and staff regarding student needs, referrals, and munity resources.
- Monitor student progress and adjust plans as needed.
- Document all services provided and maintain pliance with school policies and regulations.
- Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
- Active Colorado School Social Worker certification or eligibility.
- Previous experience working in a school setting or with children in a therapeutic role is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and outside agencies.
- Strong munication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload and prioritize tasks effectively.
