Soliant Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Worker for an onsite role in Sobieski, MN for the 2024-2025 school year. This position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on students lives within a supportive school environment.
Position: Social Worker
Location: Sobieski, MN
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to students, addressing emotional, social, and behavioral issues.
- Develop and implement strategies to support students academic and personal success.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create a prehensive support system for students.
- Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans tailored to the needs of students.
- Facilitate munication between students, families, and school personnel to address and resolve concerns.
- Provide crisis intervention and support in emergency situations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress and interventions.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited school.
- Current Social Work license with the Minnesota Board of Social Work (LSW, LGSW, LISW, or LICSW).
- Current MN licensure as a School Social Worker, or the ability to obtain licensure (Licensure Requirements).
- 1-3 years of work experience as a social worker, counselor, or in a similar role preferred.
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population, parents, and school staff.
- Experience in educational settings is a plus.
