Requirements :
Masters or Doctoral Degree in Special Education or teaching students with Special Needs
Active State Special Education license and previous resource experience, preferably with elementary students.
Salary Range : $55,467 - $80,735
Job Details :
The Special Education Coordinator will oversee special education programs and services within the district. The role involves ensuring compliance with legal requirements, facilitating communication between staff, parents, and service providers, and supporting the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). While direct instructional responsibilities are not a focus of this role, the coordinator will work closely with the education specialist and administrators to ensure that the needs of students with disabilities are met.
