Special Education Teacher (Braintree, MA)

We are currently interviewing candidates for a full-time Special Education Teacher position near Braintree, MA. In this role, you will create lesson plans, lead activities, and cultivate a positive learning environment for students. You will also utilize ABA methodologies in instruction and implement comprehensive behavior support plans as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop, teach, and reinforce clear classroom rules, routines, procedures, and expectations
• Create a daily/weekly schedule of instructional and non-instructional activities for each paraprofessional
• Implement ABA methodologies in instruction with students when appropriate
• Develop and implement behavior support plans for students
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  
  

Requirements

• Masters Degree in Special Education
• Special Education License in Massachusetts
• Massachusetts Teacher License in Mild/Moderate Disabilities
• Experience working with children with autism
  
  

Position Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Full-time: 37.5 hours/week
• Caseload: Kindergarten
