We are currently interviewing candidates for a full-time Special Education Teacher position near Braintree, MA. In this role, you will create lesson plans, lead activities, and cultivate a positive learning environment for students. Responsibilities
- Develop, teach, and reinforce clear classroom rules, routines, procedures, and expectations
- Create a daily/weekly schedule of instructional and non-instructional activities for each paraprofessional
- Implement ABA methodologies in instruction with students when appropriate
- Develop and implement behavior support plans for students
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Masters Degree in Special Education
- Special Education License in Massachusetts
- Massachusetts Teacher License in Mild/Moderate Disabilities
- Experience working with children with autism
- Start Date: ASAP
- Full-time: 37.5 hours/week
