Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Adapt general education curriculum to meet the needs of students with disabilities.
- Use innovative teaching strategies and technologies to support student learning and munication.
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching plans as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student development and progress.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records in pliance with regulations.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid Minnesota teaching license in Special Education.
- Certification in a specific area of Special Education (e.g., Learning Disabilities, Emotional/Behavioral Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders).
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Masters degree in Special Education or related field.
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
