Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
- Valid Colorado Special Education certification required, must be licensed to teach students with significant needs
- At least 1 year of experience preferred, NEW GRADUATES WELCOME TO APPLY
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Commitment to meeting the unique needs of students with disabilities
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Provide instruction to students with moderate to severe disabilities
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed
