Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and skilled Special Education Teacher for a full-time, on-site position in Naugatuck, CT. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to meet the specific needs of students.
- Provide individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a cohesive educational experience.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods and goals as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to student progress and IEPs.
- Participate in IEP meetings and work collaboratively with educational teams.
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching license for the state of Connecticut.
- Proven experience working with students with special needs.
- Strong munication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
