Special Education Teacher Needed Near Fremont, NH

Soliant is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a school district near Fremont, NH, for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time position will run from August 2024 through June 2025. The teacher will support students across various grade levels, from Kindergarten to 12th grade, in a newly built school. The exact caseload will be determined during the interview process based on the school's evolving needs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students across different grade levels
• Provide support and instruction in a variety of settings, adapting to the unique needs of each student
• Collaborate with general education teachers and other staff to ensure an inclusive and supportive learning environment
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as necessary
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development activities
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in pliance with school and district policies

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid Special Education certification in New Hampshire
• Flexibility and adaptability to work across multiple grade levels (K-12)
• Experience working in a special education setting is preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent munication, organizational, and collaboration skills
