- Morning duty supervision
- Following the daily schedule to provide in-class support to students
- Offering guidance to general education teachers on accommodations, modifications, and testing supports
- Leading and participating in IEP or parent meetings on certain days
- Communicating with parents regarding students' grades, attendance, and progress
- Developing and updating IEPs, as well as conducting informal progress monitoring
- Collaborating with the team to ensure the best support for students
- Other duties as assigned
- Special Education Teacher Certification or Sub Permit (state-specific)
