Job Title : Special Education Teacher (Grades 6-8)
Job Type : Full-Time
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Special Education Teacher to join our team and provide support to students in Grades 6-8. This position focuses on delivering ELA and Math support through both pull-out and inclusion services to ensure that students with diverse learning needs receive the academic assistance they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide pull-out services to students in small groups for targeted support in ELA (English Language Arts) and Math .
Deliver inclusion services by collaborating with general education teachers to support students in the classroom, ensuring they are actively engaged and supported in the general education curriculum.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the IEP team.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Special Education (or related field), Masters degree preferred.
Certification in Special Education or equivalent.
Experience working with middle school students, particularly in ELA and Math .
Strong knowledge of differentiated instruction, IEP development, and classroom management strategies.
Ability to work collaboratively with general education teachers and other support staff.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
