Position Details
- Grade Levels: K-12th grade students.
- Classroom Setting: Self-contained classrooms, with small groups of students who need specialized support.
- Student Needs: You will work with students with a range of disabilities, including moderate to severe and mild to moderate needs.
- Location: Multiple classroom settings within our district.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to the needs of each student.
- Provide direct instruction in academic and social-emotional skills within a self-contained classroom environment.
- Collaborate with other special education staff, general education teachers, and families to ensure the success of each student.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education (or related field).
- Valid Special Education Teaching Certification (state-specific).
- Experience working with students with moderate to severe and mild to moderate disabilities is preferred.
