Key Responsibilities
- Classroom Management: Oversee a self-contained classroom with 8-10 elementary students.
- Instructional Support: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaboration: Work alongside paraeducators (paras) in the classroom to provide comprehensive support.
- Communication: Engage with parents, guardians, and other professionals to support student development.
- Assessment: Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adapting teaching methods as necessary.
- Curriculum Development: Design and execute curriculum plans that accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
- Behavioral Support: Apply positive behavioral interventions to maintain a conducive learning environment.
