Job Summary :
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Special Education Teacher to work with students across grades K-12. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating individualized education plans (IEPs), implementing inclusive teaching strategies, and collaborating with parents, staff, and administration to support student success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the needs of each student.
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with special needs in both inclusive and specialized settings.
- Modify curriculum and instruction to meet the diverse learning styles and needs of students.
- Conduct assessments to determine students' progress and areas of need.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to create a supportive learning environment.
- Implement behavior management plans and positive reinforcement strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and munication.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in special education.
