Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations including workflow, inventory management, and prescription verification.
- Supervise pharmacy staff and ensure optimal productivity and efficiency.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate wholesaler invoices.
- Perform clinical onboarding activities, including patient counseling and education.
- Work closely with the Operations Director for daily communication and updates.
- Verify prescriptions and ensure they meet all clinical and regulatory standards.
- Utilize CareTend for order entry; training provided if necessary.
- California Pharmacist Licensure (required).
- Strong background in pharmacy management, inventory control, and staff supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail pharmacy settings.
- Experience working with specialty medications, particularly in oncology and rheumatology, preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
