About The Role

Soliant Education is currently seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in New Castle, KY. This is a school-based, full-time or part-time position, with a full school year contract. Whether you are a seasoned SLPA or just starting out, we welcome your application!

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in providing speech and language therapy to students
• Implement therapy plans developed by the supervising SLP
• Support students in both individual and group therapy sessions
• Assist with speech and language assessments and progress monitoring
• Help manage therapy materials and maintain organized documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff members to support students communication needs
• Assist in the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) under the supervision of the SLP
  
  

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
• Active state certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in Kentucky
• Experience working in a school setting is a plus, but not required
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
