About The Role

Soliant Education is excited to offer an opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in Madera, CA. This is a school-based position, available full-time or part-time, with a full school year contract. Whether youre an experienced SLPA or just starting out, we encourage you to apply!

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in delivering speech and language therapy services to students
• Implement therapy plans and activities developed by the supervising SLP
• Work with students individually and in small groups to reinforce therapeutic goals
• Assist in conducting assessments and monitoring students' progress
• Support classroom teachers, parents, and staff in addressing communication needs
• Maintain therapy materials and organize documentation
• Help in developing and reviewing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) under SLP supervision
  
  

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
• Active state certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in California
• Previous experience in a school setting is a plus but not required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
