Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students.
- Deliver therapy services to students, tailored to their specific needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create supportive learning environments.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress, and evaluations.
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Wisconsin Speech-Language Pathology License.
- ASHA CCCs preferred but Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with IEP processes and school-based services.
- Ability to pass a Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction background check.
- Completion of a Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) license for SLPs is required to work in schools.
- Understanding of Wisconsin state standards and compliance with school-based therapy regulations.
