Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students speech and language skills.
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans to address individual student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support student growth.
- Provide direct therapy and monitor students' progress consistently.
- Keep detailed records of therapy sessions, progress reports, and treatment plans.
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of educational objectives.
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current or pending licensure to practice in Connecticut.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred but not mandatory for new graduates and CFs.
- Experience in a school setting is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
