Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in Felton, DE. The SLP will work with students to assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders. This position requires strong collaboration with teachers, parents, and other support staff to develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and ensure student success.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Delaware state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience in a school setting is a plus
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech and language disorders
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and IEPs
• Provide direct therapy services to students
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports on student progress
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to student goal-setting
