Key Responsibilities
- Assessment & Diagnosis: Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Therapy Planning: Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each students needs.
- Direct Services: Provide both individual and group therapy sessions.
- Collaboration: Work with teachers, parents, and school personnel to support student development.
- Progress Monitoring: Track and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
- IEP Participation: Contribute to IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and goal-setting processes.
- Professional Growth: Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
- Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Pennsylvania.
- Certification: ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience with school-aged children is highly desirable.
