Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language assessments to evaluate students' communication abilities.
- Develop individualized therapy plans based on assessment results and student needs.
- Provide direct therapy to students individually or in small groups.
- Monitor and document student progress and make adjustments to therapy plans as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students communication development.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of communication goals.
- Offer consultation and support to staff and families regarding speech and language issues.
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Michigan.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply.
- Experience working in a school or pediatric setting is a plus.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
