Job Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Caseload: K-12 students
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: End of the school year, with potential for extension
- On-site position
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in grades K-12
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine speech and language needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students
- Provide direct therapy and collaborate with teachers and parents to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Address a range of speech and language challenges, including articulation, fluency, and language delays
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in providing speech therapy to students
- Implement therapy plans designed by the supervising SLP
- Help conduct student evaluations and track their progress
- Provide therapy to students with speech and language delays under the guidance of an SLP
- Maintain documentation of student progress
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students' development
- SLP: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and California state licensure
- SLPA: Associate's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field and current California SLPA licensure
- Experience in school-based therapy is preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff
